Expeditions and risky loot
In VEYDRIS the road is the game. You don't just click a mission and wait: every fight on the route is actually fought, and the loot isn't yours until you get home.
Five route lengths per map
Every map offers expeditions of 1, 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes, and each length has a daily focus: Hunt, Treasure Run, Delve, Harvest or Patrol. The 60-minute run is made for going offline. The route is planned on the server in advance, so reloading the page can't change what happens.
What you meet on the road
- Enemies, including rare named monsters.
- Three sealed chests: you pick one.
- Material caches and keys for crafting.
- Sometimes a hidden side passage: the main route pauses, you fight three stronger regional variants and reach a guarded vault with at least one Rare item.
Manual or Auto
In Manual mode the route stops at each enemy and you watch the fight on a combat stage (crits, combos), then press Continue. Waiting or reloading never skips a fight. In Auto mode the same fights are resolved on the server without playback, and the rounds are saved in the report.
The unsecured mission bag
| What happens | Your bag |
|---|---|
| Safe return | Secured, plus completion rewards |
| Retreat early | Secured, no completion bonus |
| Defeat on the main route | The whole bag is lost |
| Defeat in a side passage | Only the side-passage loot is lost |
Items you owned before you left are never at risk. Lost finds are listed in the report, so you can see what the defeat cost you.
Mounts
Mounts shorten travel time. Some can be rented at the stable; many can only be found on the road.
