VEYDRIS classes
VEYDRIS has eight classes, called oaths. Each has its own signature mechanic, skills and look, and every class has a defensive support action for co-op boss fights.
Rune Knight
Vanguard, melee. Every third enemy strike hits the runic shield.
Good for: Players who want a sturdy front-liner.
Starcaller
Ranged arcane burst.
Good for: Players who like big ranged damage spikes.
Shadowblade
Assassin that attacks with both eclipse blades.
Good for: Fast, aggressive play.
Wildwarden
Hunter with a spectral companion that fights beside you.
Good for: Players who like a pet doing work.
Ash Cleric
Battle healer whose sacred ember can deny death.
Good for: Safe runs and long expeditions.
Stormforged
Juggernaut whose damage rises as the fight goes on.
Good for: Long fights against bosses.
Veilweaver
Control class that removes lethal outcomes before they happen.
Good for: Players who hate losing the bag.
Chronomancer
Time mage who repeats attacks.
Good for: Players who like combo-style damage.
Which class should I pick first?
If you're new, the Rune Knight and Ash Cleric are the most forgiving because they survive longer, which matters when a defeat loses your whole mission bag. If you want to clear fast, try the Shadowblade or Starcaller. Your starter weapon is rolled, so a lucky Rare roll can also be a reason to pick a class.
